Review : Oh! Ray CC Sunscreen by @ginelmd

If there’s one product that is (and should be) ever present in anyone’s morning skincare routine— it has to be sunscreen. Even the most minimal of routines should always have sunscreen in the lineup. Those who like less layers in their morning routine would love multifunctional products like the Oh! Ray CC Sunscreen from Thai brand @theweekendskin.

Last month, @theweekendskin sent me their entire product line to try and review. I’ve since been using and loving their products but I find myself using their Oh! Ray CC Sunscreen the most. I’ve been using it everyday actually!

This is a sunscreen that combines brightening, color correction and sun protection in one product. It comes in a 15mL sturdy and travel friendly, white plastic packaging with a very pretty pink label.

The product itself has a mousse-like consistency but turns into a lovely powdery texture as you apply it. This evens out the skin tone, blurs out unwanted texture and gives a radiant, rosy glow. Coverage is light and sheer. It blurs out the skin and gives you a “my-skin-but-better” appearance. I like that it doesn’t have a white cast as well.

This contains tourmaline extract which is said to trap UVA, UVB and IR before they penetrate deeper into the skin. It also has ascorbyl glucoside that aids in skin brightening and collagen production.

It has a lightweight, barely there formula that layers really well under makeup and works well on its own too! I absolutely, always love how my skin looks when I use this with or without makeup.

I’ve used this on its own and it held up to the weird weather here in our country. I am less oily throughout the day and my makeup lasts longer. Initially, this had a mousse-like texture but now it looks more like a liquid foundation (see photo). Either way, it still works the same way and I am SO in love with this product! I highly recommend this and I hope this becomes more available and easier to get especially here in our country.

I’ll be reviewing the rest of their products on a different post so please stay tuned for that. Let me know if you have any questions! Thank you again, @theweekendskin and Paranee for sending this over!
